On August 11, 2009, WB was the successful bidder on two projects in the Houston area.
US59 North at BW8 This project consists of the construction of four direct connector ramps between BW8 and US59. This project is partially funded by federal stimulus funds. The low bid was $29,595,089.53. Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2009.
SH146 (Wharton-Weems to Red Bluff) This project consists of frontage road and mainlane construction with overpasses at the intersections. A direct connector will also be constructed between SH146 and Port Road. The low bid was $41,949,338.29. Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2009.
