FIRST PROPOSITION 12 "MY 35" CONTRACT AWARDED
The first MY35 project to be funded with Proposition 12 bond proceeds was let in July. The contract for widening I-35 from four to six lanes from Loop 340 north of Waco to FM 1858 in West was awarded to Williams Brothers Construction Company of Houston.
On August 11, 2009, WB was the successful bidder on two projects in the Houston area.
